Where Should You Place Your Call to Action Buttons?
The way you get people to buy from your website is by first getting them to click on your call-to-action buttons. But the question is, where should you place them on your web pages or even website?
Hi, everyone, I’m Neil Patel, and today, I’m gonna share with you where to place your call-to-action buttons to increase your website conversions.
The first area that you need to place your call-to-action buttons is beneath each service or product that you’re offering. Let’s say you’re selling dog food. If you’re selling dog food, your call-to-action button should be right underneath it where they can buy it.
The next thing you want to do is to put it throughout your whole web page.
For example, let’s say you’re selling dog food. You can put your call-to-action button underneath the dog food product, then, let’s say underneath that you have reviews. After all the reviews, you can then put another button that says add to cart. Not a lot of sites have that, but it’s a great way, because, if you have a ton of positive reviews, what’ll happen is people will read the reviews, be like, “Okay, this is amazing. “I should end up buying it.”
Last, but not least, you should use the Crazy Egg scrollmap feature, and as you’re using the Crazy Egg scrollmap feature, it’ll show you where people are scrolling throughout your web page, and based on where the highest density is, consider testing placing your call-to-action buttons right in those spots.
By doing that, you’re more likely to get more visibility and clicks, which should drive sales.
And, as you’re testing the placement of these call-to-action buttons, you can use Crazy Egg to run A/B tests to see if the change of the placement is helping or hurting or decreasing your overall sales.
